First Parish Church in Milton, MA
Routine maintenance on this 150 year old steeple revealed serious underlying structural damage on the interior. The steeple was removed from the bell tower for safety where it sat next to the church for two years while the appropriate team completely rebuilt it. This involved replicating the original detail on the exterior and using historically appropriate structural materials inside the steeple and clock tower. A crane had the renovated structure back in place in less than a day.
